TEREZA STANISLAV, raised in the Canadian Rockies, holds a Master of Music from the Juilliard School where she studied with Robert Mann and Felix Galimir, and during which time she was a violinist in the New Juilliard Ensemble that premiered many new works by composers from around the world. Ms. Stanislav holds a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University where she studied with Miriam Fried. She also completed quartet residencies at the Britten-Pears School in Aldeburgh, England, at Northern Illinois University under the tutelage of the Vermeer Quartet and at Rice University. Ms. Stanislav has performed as soloist and chamber musician in Alice Tully Hall, the Library of Congress in Washington D.C., the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem, at the Ravinia Music Festival, La Jolla Summerfest, St. Barth’s Music Festival and at the Banff Center in Canada. Tereza Stanislav was appointed Assistant Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in 2003 by Music Director, Jeffrey Kahane. She has been Concertmaster of the Juilliard Orchestra, the Festival d’Art Lyrique Orchestra and the Paris Conservatory Orchestra, France. Tereza worked closely with the late Isaac Stern in the Academie Europeene de Musique Festival in 1999.
